Line Cook (PM) Brewery Tasting Room Kitchen

ommonwealth Brewing Co., a craft brewery with a wood-fired pizza kitchen in the heart of Chic's Beach, is looking for hardworking, motivated individuals to join our team as a PM Line Cook. In this role, you will be part of a fast-paced kitchen preparing Neapolitan-style pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and other menu items while helping maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

Set up and stock food items, prep stations, and necessary supplies for service Light and set up the wood-fired oven according to Chef standards Prepare ingredients by cutting, chopping, mixing, portioning, and making sauces Cook food using a variety of methods including grilling, sautéing, frying, and wood-fired cooking Shape, top, and cook Neapolitan-style pizzas accurately and consistently Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items during service Maintain cleanliness and follow all food safety and sanitation standards Properly store and label food items Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, cooking surfaces, and work areas at the end of each shift Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen Basic written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow directions and recipes Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Pizza or wood-fired oven experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred 1-2 years of experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred Experience with a variety of cooking methods and kitchen procedures Weekend availability is required

$15.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience
