Job Description
We are seeking a fast, efficient, and detail-oriented Kitchen Food Production Worker to assemble and package breakfast sandwiches, standard sandwiches, and salads at scale. In this role, you will prep, build, and package fresh, high-quality grab-and-go meals. This position has the following schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 5am to 1pm
Key Responsibilities High-Volume Assembly:
Accurately assemble sandwiches, wraps, and salads according to standardized recipes, portion controls, and visual presentation standards.Packaging & Sealing:
Package all finished products securely in designated containers, ensuring they are properly labeled with ingredients, dates, and nutritional info for delivery.Prep Work:
Assist with basic food prep, including slicing deli meats/cheeses, washing/chopping produce, and mixing dressings.Quality Control:
Inspect ingredients for freshness and immediately discard any wilted, expired, or compromised food items.Sanitation & Safety:
Maintain a spotless workspace. Follow strict food safety and HACCP guidelines, including regular sanitization of work surfaces, knives, and cutting boards.Inventory Restocking:
Assist with rotating stock (FIFO method), putting away deliveries, and organizing walk-in coolers.Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Previous experience in high-volume food prep, catering, or fast-paced commercial kitchens is preferred.Food Safety Certification:
Must hold or be willing to obtain a valid Washington State Food Worker Card.Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods (8+ hours), bend, twist, and frequently lift/carry up to 40 lbs.Pacing:
Ability to work quickly and repetitively without compromising food quality or presentation.Reliability:
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to punctuality in a time-sensitive, delivery-driven environment.Pay:
