Aluel Cellars is growing, and we're looking for enthusiastic, hospitality-driven professionals to join our tasting room team. This role supports guest experiences at both our Queen Anne tasting room and our Après by Aluel wine bar in Ballard , and team members should be comfortable traveling between locations as part of their schedule. Après by Aluel is a vibrant wine bar featuring rotating themes, curated wine lists, and immersive guest experiences. Our Queen Anne tasting room focuses on showcasing Aluel Cellars wines through thoughtful tastings and guest education. Together, these locations offer two distinct ways for guests to experience our wines and hospitality. We're seeking team members who enjoy learning, storytelling, and building meaningful guest connections. About Us Aluel Cellars is a locally owned urban winery producing handcrafted wines in Washington State. We're passionate about hospitality, education, and sharing our story through thoughtful service and memorable guest experiences. Key Responsibilities Provide warm, engaging, and professional hospitality Guide guests through tastings and wine selections Learn and present rotating Après wine lists and themes Share the Aluel Cellars story and wine knowledge with guests Promote wine club memberships and encourage repeat visits Process transactions using Square and manage open tabs Maintain a clean, organized tasting room environment Assist with opening, restocking, closing, and special events Work scheduled shifts at both Queen Anne and Ballard locations Qualifications Friendly, outgoing personality with strong guest service skills Interest in wine and guest education Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends Ability and willingness to travel between locations when scheduled Must be 21+ with a Washington State Food Handler's Card and Class 12 Permit Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and stand for extended periods Wine, beer, or cocktail experience is helpful but not required Compensation Hourly wage based on experience Tips Wine club sign-up bonuses
