Description Job Overview The Game Performance Manager will directly oversee the machine maintenance and performance operation on a 24/7 basis. The Manager will also supervise all machine repair personnel, ensuring all activities and job duties are performed according to company, departmental, and federal policies, procedures and goals. The Game Performance Manager will have responsibility that encompasses customer service, team relations and profitability. Duties And Responsibilities Manages the preparation of staffing schedules for Game Performance personnel that will assure that guest service needs and labor budgets are met Manages and aides in troubleshooting and repair of gaming machines and gaming related equipment Has primary responsibility to ensure that all gaming software on games and gaming servers is current and approved for the casino. Has primary responsibility to ensure that the gaming machines and gaming servers are not operating with revoked or superseded software Plans and executes the removal, moves, installations and/or upgrades gaming machines and gaming related equipment as needed Keeps an on hand inventory of parts and tools necessary for the efficient repair and gaming machines at all times. Ensures that inventory tracking of regulatory significant parts is accurate and current Monitors and tracks gaming machine malfunctions and outages, the cause of the problems and the parts involved to repair gaming machines and gaming related equipment Schedules, tracks and records testing for card reader accuracy, touch screen calibration accuracy and point accumulation totals to provide Wind Creek guests with a smooth gaming experience Interprets the analytics available through the Game Science team to improve gaming service scores, to improve game device "uptime", to improve revenues and to improve profit levels by optimizing the use of lease games most efficiently Ensures that the number of games "out of service" is less than 10 games per day, excluding games scheduled for upgrades, moves, or removals Ensures daily machine variance reports (specifically, the High Net Loss Report) are reviewed, causes investigated, issues corrected and the review and its explanations are documented Reviews daily and monthly systems & financial reports and investigates unusual game statistical fluctuations including unusual actual versus theoretical variations in coin in, win percentages, and drop; Provides written reports to management that explains the fluctuations Maintains excellent relationships with vendors and remains informed of game and related product performance Develops, manages and administers gaming technical training on bill acceptors, monitors, card readers and other machine components Ensures Game Technology Administrator adheres to proper naming conventions when making additions or modifications to slot databases describing gaming machine attributes Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures regulating gaming principals including Tribal, federal, and applicable state law requirements, MICS, TICS, NIGC Technical Standards, policies and procedures as warranted Other duties & responsibilities as assigned Job Requirements (Please Ensure You Meet The Listed Requirements Prior To Applying) High School diploma or GED
- required Bachelor's Degree in Related Field AND two (2) years Supervisory experience
- required OR Four (4) years' experience in a Management position
- required OR Three (3) years' experience in a Supervisory position with Wind Creek Hospitality
- required Five (5) years of experience working with a minimum of 1,000 electronic gaming devices involving technical repairs, machine analysis and performance
- required , Experience with Class II devices is preferred over Class III experience One (1) year of experience in optimizing floor layouts and game mix
- required One (1) year of experience interacting with outside vendors involving game conversions, new products, upgrades and project scheduling
- required Demonstrated experience and knowledge with electronic and mechanical troubleshooting methods and techniques
- required Demonstrated employee management skills in all aspects of Class II or III gaming performance operations with proven ability to develop and inspire the capabilities of employees
- required Demonstrated high level of maturity with leadership qualities and employee supervision capabilities.
Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Willing and able to travel and participate in training as recommended or required Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Willing and able to work odd and irregular hours including holidays, promotions and weekends Must have and maintain valid state-issued operator driver's license Must have the ability to obtain and maintain any applicable license as a requirement for this position Willing and able to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
