Job Description
The Assistant Manager - Bingo supports the daily operations of the Bingo Department, ensuring games are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all applicable regulations. This role assists in supervising team members, maintaining excellent guest service standards, and promoting a fun, engaging, and safe gaming environment. The Assistant Manager - Bingo plays a key role in maintaining operational excellence, supporting staff performance, and ensuring a positive guest experience throughout all Bingo activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with the recruitment, training, evaluation, and supervision of Bingo team members, ensuring fair and equitable treatment across the department. Provides coverage in any Bingo position as needed in the event of staff absences. Designs, schedules, and evaluates Bingo games to ensure quality, variety, and guest engagement. Prepares weekly work schedules and approves payroll for all Bingo team members. Assists in the development of the department's operating budget and ensures adherence to budgetary guidelines; reviews monthly profit and loss statements. Promotes positive guest relations by fostering a welcoming and engaging Bingo experience. Contributes innovative ideas for new games and promotions that drive guest interest and increase participation. Collaborates with the Marketing department to coordinate and implement Bingo-related promotions and events. Maintains a thorough understanding of applicable gaming laws and regulations (federal, state, and local), as well as internal policies, procedures, and controls. Orders and manages departmental supplies in alignment with operational needs and budgetary constraints. Maintains the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates strong leadership and motivational abilities while engaging with team members, management, government officials, and the public. Maintains departmental staffing by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training team members, while ensuring a safe, compliant, and supportive work environment that fosters professional growth. Drives team performance by clearly communicating expectations and grooming standards, setting goals, monitoring progress, and conducting regular evaluations. Provides coaching and corrective guidance as needed, while developing and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards to ensure operational excellence.QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong knowledge of Bingo operations, effective communication skills, and proven supervisory experience. Must be able to fill in for any Bingo position as needed and lead a guest-focused, team-oriented environment. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and other PC-based software. Must maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgement, and demonstrate professionalism in guest and team member interactions. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field required. Gaming license or certification (as required by jurisdiction) must be obtained and maintained in good standing. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in gaming operations, hospitality, or entertainment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Experience in bingo operations or casino floor management strongly preferred. Proven ability to manage staff, scheduling, and daily operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Strong knowledge of gaming compliance, cash handling procedures, and player service standards. Proficiency with point-of-sale and/or bingo management systems preferred.LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have successfully completed a background check and obtained a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency, as required.LANGUAGE SKILLS

This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires the ability to adapt and perform under pressure. The casino operates with moderate to loud noise levels and is a smoking environment, requiring team members to work comfortably in these conditions.WORKING HOURS
Morongo Casino Resort & Spa operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; therefore, flexibility in scheduling is essential. Team members must be available to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
