JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Manager of Cash Operations and Player Services is responsible and accountable for the operation of the Cage & Player Services Department. Assist in developing and implementation of procedures to ensure the security of gaming funds, assets and players' information as they relate to the operation. Provides quality guest service/satisfaction to increase rated play. Works closely with and supports special events and promotions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and approve payroll. Develops successful and consistent operations for Cage and Player Services by communicating with operational departments to provide service, promotion, and special event information. Knowledgeable of marketing promotions and events. Development of team members, interviews, hiring and performance evaluations. Completes and processes performance reviews for direct reports. Manages, trains, and enforces procedures to safeguard assets, funds, and player information. Ensures that required equipment for operation is available, clean, and functioning properly. Ensures the safety and security of team members and guests. Facilitate processes and programs to effectively control and reduce lost time injuries. Manages all policies to include, but not limited to, corporate procedures, internal controls, and both state and federal guidelines to ensure they are being followed. Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Management abilities demonstrated in managing the cage department with operational effectiveness. Effective managing of the staff. Public relations and guest service skills. Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel. Flexibility to work various shifts. Oral and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to navigate multiple operating systems simultaneously.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Five to seven years of experience in gaming cage operations or banking with a 4-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience is preferred. Valid Racing License.
