Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a dependable and driven Backend Arcade Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day logistics of our arcade venues, support event execution, and manage inventory and on-site staff. This is a boots-on-the-ground role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can solve problems quickly, and enjoys being part of building a great customer experience at The Arcade District. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations at Witches and Wizards Arcade and related Arcade District venues Schedule, train, and supervise arcade and event support staff Maintain inventory of concessions, wristbands, tokens, and equipment Coordinate facility upkeep, repairs, and general cleanliness Lead setup and breakdown for events in Sentinel Park and arcade spaces Monitor arcade flow and address guest needs, tech issues, or safety concerns Assist with power, lighting, and AV needs for bands, movie nights, and special events Track supply orders and work within budget for operational purchases Coordinate and issue payments to artists after band/comedy events. Qualifications. Previous experience in venue, retail, hospitality, or arcade operations preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks under pressure Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and assist with event setup Excellent communication and time management Available nights and weekends for events and arcade traffic Comfortable using inventory management tools and basic maintenance logs You're a great fit if you… Love solving problems and getting things done on the ground Take pride in keeping things organized, stocked, and running smoothly Don't flinch when a crowd shows up early or a band blows a fuse Work well with others but can also take full ownership of your shift Want to help build one of Columbia's most exciting entertainment districts
