Job Description

The Surveillance Systems Supervisor is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing all surveillance system equipment within the organization, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards. This includes managing digital video monitoring systems, installing and configuring network and hardware components, and providing technical support for applications and infrastructure. The role requires staying current on surveillance and IT technologies, recommending system improvements, and ensuring proper camera placement across all areas. The supervisor also responds to system issues, plans for outages, and collaborates with technicians and vendors to maintain continuous, efficient operations. Additionally, the position requires maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to company policies, while demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. In addition to technical duties, the supervisor oversees staff management, including scheduling, training, performance evaluation, and fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred additional education or technical certifications and several years of surveillance or IT experience. Candidates must possess computer proficiency, networking knowledge, and the ability to use specialized tools and equipment. Physical and mental demands include problem-solving, data interpretation, and performing tasks that involve lifting, standing, and working in various environments. The position also requires obtaining relevant licenses and certifications, including a gaming license, and meeting company compliance standards such as drug screening and federal regulations.
