Job Description

  • REQUIRED
NIGHT/OVERNIGHT AVAILABILITY
  • GENERAL
STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Under the direction of the of the Manager
  • Video Gaming Operations, patrols the gaming floor to ensure the floor attendants are operating efficiently and deals with patrons to resolve issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Assist customers, explain the machine functions and play, etc. 2. Resolve problems with machine operations. 3. Direct patrons to areas within the gaming center, cashiers' cages, redemption kiosks, restaurants, etc. 4. Monitor the play by patrons and discreetly clean up areas while patrolling. 5. Monitor the performance of the Floor Attendants
  • Video Gaming Operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Assist in the training and scheduling of floor personnel. 7. At day's end, assist designated employees with the machine drop functions. 8. Will be the Facility Manager on Duty (MOD) who will have responsibility and authority for the supervision and management of the overall operation of Batavia Downs Gaming's gaming facility, passing along relevant information, from issues that may arise, to appropriate personnel. 9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND TRAINING
Ability and willingness to interact with patrons and employees in a courteous and professional manner. Ability to communicate effectively. Strong supervisory skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE A
high school diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience in a customer service-related field. Must be approved for and maintain a valid Video Lottery Gaming Key Employee license and racing license issued by the New York State Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is a labor-intensive role approximately 100% of the time. This position may require the ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 20 pounds at a time and bend, crawl, or stand as necessary. Effective communication is required, both in person and over a radio. Reasonable accommodations may be made for to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and on holidays.
