Job Description
Poker Room Supervisor Bring your leadership, gaming expertise, and passion for guest service to a fast-paced casino environment where professionalism, integrity, and teamwork come first. We re looking for an experienced Poker Room Supervisor who thrives under pressure, leads by example, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional gaming experience for every guest. If you enjoy mentoring team members, overseeing live table operations, and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations while creating memorable guest experiences, we d love to meet you. What You ll Do Verify gaming table transactions and monitor gameplay integrity in assigned areas Inspect cards, chips, and gaming equipment prior to play to ensure compliance and quality standards Monitor all poker games for suspicious or irregular activity and respond appropriately when necessary Track and monitor player rating activity, including average bets and length of play, ensuring accurate player data entry into the Casino Management System Open and close games while verifying table counts provided by Dealers Support Dealers through coaching, guidance, and operational assistance during live gameplay Interview, hire, train, mentor, and evaluate Poker Room Dealers Plan, assign, and direct work while maintaining a positive and productive team environment Address associate concerns, resolve operational issues, and support a culture of accountability and teamwork What We re Looking For High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 1 year of experience dealing in a high-volume Class III casino environment required Strong knowledge of NYS Gaming Commission regulations and casino operational procedures Knowledge of basic strategy and rules for all supervised games Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to mentor and coach team members effectively while maintaining gaming integrity Strong business acumen and computer proficiency Ability to accurately monitor and enter player information into the Casino Management System Ability to remain calm, professional, and guest-focused in a fast-paced casino environment Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervise Poker Room Dealers on a daily basis Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, coaching, discipline, and conflict resolution Schedule Requirements Casino operations run 7 days a week between 9 AM and 3 AM Night, weekend, and holiday availability is required Why You ll Love Working Here Competitive Benefits & Perks Employee daycare available 7 days a week from 7 AM-11 PM at discounted rates (subsidies may also be available) Generous 401(k) plan - 100% vested from the beginning Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance for full-time employees Paid Time Off, Sick Time, and Holiday Pay Tuition Reimbursement for eligible employees Employee discounts on hotels, restaurants, spa services, and more Join Our Gaming Team This is more than a supervisory role - it s an opportunity to grow your gaming career in a dynamic, professional casino environment where leadership, integrity, and guest service are valued every day.
