JOB SUMMARY
The Count Room Manager has an overall responsible for removal of cash boxes and proper counting of bills and vouchers from gaming device bill acceptors and table games drop boxes. Ensures proper safety training, safe working practices and compliance with all department and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and government regulations. Responsible for proper and accurate record keeping and the storage of all gaming-related records and forms. The Count Room Manager is required to always demonstrate and provide outstanding customer and employee relations.
Pay Range:
$62,500 - $65,000 annually.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this class and are not all inclusive. Selects, schedules, directs, supervises, trains, and develops staff
Works with Surveillance and Security to develop and maintain drop route
Monitors count room activity for cleanliness, safe working conditions and practices, and compliance with all department and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and government regulations
Ensures the proper removal and counting of all vouchers and currency from gaming bill acceptors and table games drop boxes
Controls the storage of gaming-related records and forms.
Prepares and generates gaming device, cash and voucher and win reports at the conclusion of the count
Handles minor mechanical equipment maintenance and repairs
Coaches, mentors, advocates for the Team Member as well as the company and is a hospitality champion demonstrating old world hospitality with charm
Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate
Bachelor's degree preferred
Must have excellent math skills
PC proficient
Able to formulate and communicate ideas
Ability to make independent decisions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
In addition to the other duties described herein, every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations: Attend required training sessions offered by the casino
Obtain required license(s)
Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations
Responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco
Knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member's department
Knowledge of the property's programs to address problem gambling
Consult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and Internal Controls
Responsible for taking the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management
Reports any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any Team Member that they have knowledge of

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
Must have ability to: Ability to perform heavy lifting of 50 lbs. (or more) and push and pull up to 100 lbs.
Required to work in a small, confined, and noisy area
Communicates effectively with all levels of Team Members, guests, and outside contacts
Required to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Required to move around all work areas effectively and efficiently
Required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Required to work for extended time seated as well as on your feet
