We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Spotter - Gap Attendant. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Relay horse names to clockers via radio Relay workout times from clockers to trainers if requested Assist clockers during training hours Ability to work required overtime Regular punctual attendance required Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to read, write legibly, understand and speak English Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays Ability to stand for periods of time and work in inclement weather when necessary High School Diploma or equivalent required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
