Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Works variable shifts as assigned by the Supervisor. Will greet and welcome customers assisting them in whatever way necessary to create goodwill and a friendly attitude. Works rotating and odd shifts are required. Responsible for maintaining video machines in accordance with established procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and Team Members. 2. Ensure regulatory compliance with all aspects of slot machine maintenance i.e., moves, conversions, and repair. 3. Ensure functionality of the slot maintenance system. 4. Interact with Slot Operations personnel guests while repairing slot machine functions. 5. Assist with slot layout and installation. 6. Work on special projects as assigned. 7. Assist in maintaining adequate stock of parts necessary for repairs. 8. Perform preventative maintenance, clean, inspect, adjust, and test various machine parts. 9. Perform floor maintenance, trouble shoot and repair machine malfunctions and system problems as they occur during gaming. 10. Assist customers with questions and complaints regarding slot machines. 11. Provide answers and explanations and rectify problems as appropriate. 12. Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter. 13. Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies. 14. Other duties as assigned by Management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required. Must be at least 21 years of age or older. Must be computer literate. Customer service experience preferred. Preference will be given to personnel with experience in electro-mechanical, video and electronic equipment repair and maintenance. Ability to inform and communicate orally and in writing in diverse and challenging situations is required. Knowledge of standard and accepted (video department) methods and procedures preferred. Demonstrated mechanical capabilities, and experience.
Other Requirements :
Must pass an extensive background security check with no money related felony convictions within the past ten (10) years and no money related record of criminal convictions of any kind in the past five (5) years other than traffic violations. Ability to communicate in English with customers, co-workers and Management is required. Ability to inform and communicate orally and in writing in diverse and challenging situations is required. Pass Title 31 within first 90 days of employment. Ability to process information effectively to learn new materials, identify, and define problems and to make decisions is required. Ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks within strict deadlines. Must possess ability to interact with the public and fellow employees, demonstrating respect, tact, courtesy, objectivity, and maturity to develop an effective and cooperative working relationship. Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters. Able to hear and speak effectively in a noisy environment. Must be able to work various schedules, on an as-needed basis; as work schedules could vary and will involve day, evening, or nighttime hours during the week and/or on weekends and holidays. Must meet requirements to qualify for a Bishop Paiute Gaming License. Must pass an extensive background check.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to routinely lift or move up to 25 pounds. Team Member will be required to stand, walk, climb stairs, sit, grasp, bend, push, pull, move, lift and/or carry.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Noise levels are moderate to loud. Work involves frequent exposure to extreme heat and cold.
