DROP/COUNT TEAM MEMBER REVISED

October 1, 2024 The Drop/Count Team Member is responsible for collection and transportation of daily revenues and documentation of same.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures integrity of all count transactions. Handles the slot drop pick-ups, weighing, wrapping, canning, or strapping, and transferring to cage. Assists in reconciliation of the machine drops and table game drops. Prepares various reports, reconciles all totals, and forwards all information to appropriate individuals. Operates the equipment in the count room, and perform minor repairs and maintenance as needed. Hand counts all revenue if machines break down. Conducts the necessary research to effectively resolve disputes. Held accountable to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports. Must attend and be certified in all applicable training required. All other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
The minimum age requirement is 21. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must have strong mathematical skills. Must have excellent guest service skills. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is required to stand for entire shift, walk, and repeatedly bend, push, and pull throughout shift. Regularly required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls reach with hands, arms, and to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations. Must be able to work in a dusty and smoke-filled environment and enclosed area. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. The noise level is moderate to high on the casino floor. Exposed daily to flashing lights and ringing bells. Must be able to perform the essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
