JOB SUMMARY
•This position is an overnight/sunrise position. Start time on days scheduled is 3:00am•Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned, as necessary. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Roles and Responsibilities:
Collect Bill Validator boxes from slot machines on casino floor as quickly as possible each day in order to minimize the amount of interruption on the gaming floor. The drop functions include but are not limited to drop set up, bill validator replacement and retrieving from slot machine and transporting of the BV carts to the soft count room. Utilize all drop equipment in the manner for which it was intended, taking special care around gaming tables, slot machines, upholstered furniture, and doorways containing millwork. Assist other departments with special projects that relate to the drop process or require specialized use of the drop equipment. Sorts, counts and records contents of table game drop boxes and currency drop boxes, according to set procedures. Responsible to balance funds and create daily reports. Operates Currency Counter equipment and conducts minor repairs and maintenance. Perform weekly and monthly inventory counts. Drop and replenish NRT terminals; build NRT cassettes for future drops, if necessary. Performs duties as assigned, always presenting oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourages others to do the same. Alerts the appropriate team members when there are technical problems with games/systems. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Enforce Project 21 policy and procedures by monitoring area for underage gamblers. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Must possess or be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming License. Must be flexible to work any shift, most specifically grave shift. Basic mechanical (repair) ability preferred. Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, grip and kneel repetitively and lift up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to carry Bill Validator boxes filled with currency or push/ pull carts filled with Bill Validator boxes with the assistance of a team member and/or electrical device (tug). Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be detail oriented and possess basic math skills. Must be able to work under constant surveillance. Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must adhere to uniform/appearance requirements. Ability to appreciate and be friendly with all Harrah's Gulf Coast team members who are of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Able to accept direction of Senior Leadership.
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:
Able to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform job. Available to work any shift, holidays and weekends. Ability to tolerate cigarette/cigar smoke and e-cigarette vapor. Responds to visual and aural cues. Must have manual dexterity to be able to operate the following equipment: computer, telephone, photocopy machine, ten key, printer and manual tug.
