Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival with genuine enthusiasm, establishing an inviting atmosphere from the moment they walk in Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize table turnover and guest flow Maintain clear communication with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate seating and address guest needs promptly Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, and menu items when applicable Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance their dining experience Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards Handle guest concerns or complaints courteously, striving to resolve issues swiftly and effectively Qualifications Prior experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or restaurant settings is highly preferred Strong communication skills with an ability to engage positively with diverse guests and team members Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential for creating a welcoming environment Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest service is key Ability to stand, walk, and remain energetic during busy shifts while maintaining a professional appearance Knowledge of restaurant operations and serving procedures enhances your effectiveness in this role Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your energy and dedication will shine.
