Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. As a Host, you will create a warm and inviting atmosphere by greeting guests, managing wait lists, and guiding patrons to their tables. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will ensure every guest feels welcome and excited to enjoy their experience with us. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly as they arrive, providing a positive first impression of the restaurant Manage waitlists efficiently using Toast Tables Answer initial questions about our menu offerings Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure smooth flow of seating throughout service Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and hospitality-focused communication Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating arrangements and reduce wait times Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously Requirements Previous experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or hospitality preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Toast is a plus Experience in hotel or guest services is advantageous but not required Excellent phone etiquette, hospitality mindset, and ability to handle guest relations gracefully Ability to stand, walk, and remain energetic during busy dining hours Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences in a lively environment Join us at Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint where your enthusiasm helps create memorable moments for every guest!
