Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them to their seats promptly. Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating charts with accuracy using POS systems Handle guest inquiries courteously via phone and in person, providing information about menu items, wait times, and restaurant policies. Process all transactions efficiently at the cashier station, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to promote a welcoming environment. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating flow and optimize guest experience. Uphold high standards of guest relations, addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or cashier in food service or restaurant settings. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
