Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to streamline guest flow. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism via phone and in person, ensuring clear communication and guest satisfaction. Process payments accurately at the cashier station, including cash, credit cards, and other payment methods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and cashier area to promote a welcoming environment. Assist in coordinating seating arrangements during busy periods to optimize table turnover and reduce wait times. Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, enhancing overall guest experience. Experience Prior experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions efficiently. Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus, especially in guest services or serving roles. Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage confidently with guests and team members. Knowledge of restaurant operations, including reservation management and guest relations strategies. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
