Host/ToGo/Expo- Job Responsibil ities Greet guests warmly and promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Manage and oversee the seating arrangement to optimize table turnover and minimize wait times. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front area and host stand. Coordinate take-out orders, ensuring accurate and efficient packaging and delivery to guests. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order details and modifications. Expedite food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery. Assist in managing the flow of service by coordinating with servers and kitchen staff. Handle guest inquiries and reservations via phone and in-person. Monitor and manage the waitlist during peak hours. Address guest complaints or requests efficiently and professionally. Ensure all to-go orders are complete and include necessary utensils, condiments, and napkins. Host/ToGo/Expo - Job Requirements Previous experience in a similar role preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic math skills for handling transactions. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and reservation software. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to handle customer complaints with patience and tact. Team player with a positive attitude.
