Restaurant Host/Hostess

As a Macayo Host you will work in a fast-paced atmosphere and are responsible for providing Engaged Guest Service and consistently delivering a quality product. Engaged Service is crucial to the success of Macayo.

Responsibilities:

Welcome everyone with respect and treat them the way you wish to be treated! Engage in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion Be aware of guest needs for seating Be knowledgeable of Macayo menu items, promotions and policies in order to ensure a memorable dining or takeout experience Provide a menu tour, highlighting our fresh homemade food and handcrafted margaritas and beverages Ensure cleanliness of all Macayo menus and Marketing materials Answer incoming calls, greet callers, provide accurate information, transfer calls and/or take messages as necessary. Organization and communication for all reservations and call aheads Ensure 100% order accuracy on all takeout orders Facilitate proper seating procedures to ensure great service Maintain cleanliness of lobby, restrooms and entrance Stock items in appropriate places (ie: toilet paper, paper towels, toothpicks, mints, crayons) Check and stock bathrooms every 15-30 minutes based on business needs Be a Team Player, with the ability to execute responsibilities within a fast paced, team environment Always sincerely thank guests as they leave and invite them to return Communicate to Management Team when inventory is running low on any materials or tools Doing whatever it takes to make sure every guest leaves happy and ready to recommend Macayo's and return If you enjoy creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and have a passion for hospitality, we invite you to apply for the Host/Host role.
