Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional host/server to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a polished appearance, and the ability to manage guest interactions with warmth and efficiency. Previous experience in cashier/host roles, food service, or hospitality is required. The position offers an engaging environment where guest relations and service excellence are paramount. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival Answer phone calls, take reservations, and manage inquiries about the menu and restaurant. Maintain cleanliness and organization Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service Assist with guest requests and resolve concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction Support in managing guest relations by providing attentive and personalized service Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating excellent communication skills and guest engagement Handle cash, credit card transactions, and provide accurate change to guests. Assist with opening and closing duties as needed. Maintain a positive attitude and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Previous host/host experience or background in food service or hospitality required Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Clover or Square is a plus Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and friendly demeanor Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed This position plays a vital role in creating a memorable experience for our guests through attentive service and welcoming interactions.
