Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring they receive exceptional guest services and have a positive experience from the moment they arrive. This role requires excellent communication skills, a polished appearance, and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory. The Host will play a vital role in maintaining the overall guest relations and supporting our team in delivering outstanding service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements Manage reservations and waitlists using POS system or OpenTable Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and provide accurate information Maintain a clean and organized host stand Monitor dining room capacity and manage guest seating efficiently during busy hours Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and provide exceptional customer service Assist with guest checkout and provide assistance with any additional needs during their visit Support team members in delivering high-quality hospitality experiences Skills Previous host/hostess experience or background in food service required Strong customer service and guest relations skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with restaurant POS systems is preferred Hospitality experience is a plus Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and demeanor Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities This position offers an engaging work environment where your hospitality skills can shine.
