Hostess/To-Go Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Hostess/To-Go Specialist to create a warm, welcoming environment for our guests and ensure smooth, efficient take-out service. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving in person or calling in orders, providing exceptional customer service and guest relations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a positive dining experience, whether guests are dining in or enjoying our to-go options. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills while supporting our team in delivering memorable experiences. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, offering friendly assistance and guiding them to their seats or order pickup areas Manage phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, taking accurate to-go orders and answering questions about menu items Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately Prepare and package to-go orders with attention to presentation and quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, waiting areas, and order pickup stations Assist with guest seating arrangements during busy periods to optimize flow and reduce wait times Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely order fulfillment and guest satisfaction Skills Previous host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant environment preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Hospitality experience, including hotel or restaurant roles, is a plus Familiarity with food service operations, serving procedures, and guest services standards Join our team where your enthusiasm fuels memorable guest experiences!
