  • Full-time Job Overview HaruJapanese Restaurant is seeking a reliable and hardworking team member to assist with both dishwashing and front-of-house support duties.
Duties Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, sinks, and storage spaces Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware and utensils are spotless and ready for use Follow food handling safety protocols to ensure sanitation standards are met at all times Help with trash removal and recycling to keep the kitchen tidy and compliant with health regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours Greet guests and assist with seating when need Answer phones and support reservation management Support the restaurant team wherever needed during service Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending comfortably Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, bussing, and kitchen operations Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of culinary or hospitality terminology is a plus Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality by supporting our culinary team!
