The Café is the signature all-day dining outlet of Mission Pacific Beach Resort, a Hyatt property on the Oceanside waterfront. We serve from sunrise to sunset — serious food, craft coffee, and a full bar program — in a space that is equal parts neighborhood café and elevated hospitality experience. Our team moves fast, cares deeply, and takes real pride in what they put in front of people. Greeters, also known as Hosts/Hostess, are responsible for weing and creating the first impression for guests. These individuals can influence the overall restaurant experience by their interactions that include providing table amodations and offering menu rmendations. Please note, your job duties may include additional responsibilities depending on business needs, such as rolling silverware, cleaning, etc. If you thrive in a high-energy environment, and want to work in a setting w the standard is genuinely high — this is the role. This is a part time/seasonal position, expected to end around Labor Day 2026. The hourly rate for this position is $19.50/hr The Café at Hyatt is excited to wee you with the following:

• Minimum 1 year in F&B or customer service role.
• Experience in a full-service or hotel food and beverage environment preferred
• Ability to stand for a minimum 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift, carry, and move at least 50 pounds
• Strong multitasking ability
• Warm, confident, and professional under pressure — speed and warmth are not opposites
• Punctuality and reliability
• Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time.
• Ability to follow the Hyatt Values during each shift.
• Ability to take direction for your Supervisor and leaders.
• Open availability including weekdays, weekends and holidays.
