  • And so much more! Greeters are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for guests. These individuals can influence the overall restaurant experience by their interactions that include providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations. Hosts will also have the following job responsibilities:
  • Greet guests with a warm welcome and seat them accordingly
  • Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
  • Provide guests with menus and inform them of specials
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
  • Answer phone calls and take reservations
  • Collaborate with servers to ensure excellent guest service Ensure that the host stand is clean and organized, and all necessary materials are available.
Confirm that iPads are charged and ready for use. Ensure restaurant menus are clean and in good condition. Notify the GM in advance if new menus need to be printed (restaurant menu, wine menu, and bar menu). Assist the bar with drink service and table cleaning. Take reservations for up to 20 covers. Know the Rules and Policy regarding moving tables inside the Restaurant. (example when we can put together table 53 and 58) Understand and enforce policies and rules related to children. Confirm that hostesses check reservations for the following day and verify new reservations for the day. Notify relevant staff if the reservation is for a celebrity influencer or VIP. Ensure guest cards are completed the night before with accurate guest information. Organize seating preferences based on guest requests (e.g. window or patio seating) and adjust flow of service accordingly. Supervise guest comments and preferences in the guestbook for future visits, and record how many times they have dined with us. Rolling silverware & polishing glasses as needed. Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in food & beverage or customer service.
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Experience with POS systems is a plus
  • Strong willingness to help others and provide exceptional guest services
  • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel industry preferred
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Refined verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Must be available Tuesday
