Job Description The Host is the first and last impression of DamnFine Pizza. You set the tone for each guest's experience with a welcoming attitude, professionalism, and an ability to keep the dining room flowing smoothly. This role requires confidence, strong communication skills, and a balance of warmth and efficiency. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and promptly, providing a genuine first impression Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlist using Resy reservation system Coordinate seating to balance guest satisfaction with server and kitchen flow Answer phones, assist with to-go orders, and provide accurate information about the restaurant Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entryway Assist in special event setup and guest coordination when needed Support the team by jumping in where needed (menus, water service, table touches, etc.) Uphold DamnFine's values of kindness, quality, and collaboration in every interaction Qualifications Previous host or customer service experience preferred but not required—hospitality mindset is most important Strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Warm, professional, and approachable demeanor Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure Weekend and evening availability required What We Offer Competitive hourly pay + tips Shift meals and employee discounts Supportive, team-focused environment Opportunities for growth in a hospitality-driven company How to
