From handmade gelato to wood-fired pizzas, we serve up a taste of Italy with every plate. Role Overview As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. You'll greet guests with a smile, manage reservations and seating using Toast Tables, and ensure smooth front-of-house operations. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating arrangements efficiently. Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests accurately. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, including reservations and general questions about the restaurant. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive dining experience. Qualifications Previous Host experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with Toast is advantageous. Experience in food service or hotel environments is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and serving others is highly valued.
