As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating flow. Duties Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a lively and professional attitude, making them feel immediately welcomed Manage reservation systems and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Toast optimize seating arrangements Coordinate with servers staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service flow Answer guest inquiries in person, providing accurate information about wait times, menu options, and winery policies Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring a positive first impression for all visitors Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall guest satisfaction Support team members during busy periods by managing guest flow and facilitating seamless transitions between seating and service Qualifications Previous experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or restaurant environments preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is advantageous Experience in hospitality settings is a plus, demonstrating versatility in guest services Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and guest service standards is highly desirable Join our team as a Host and play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences!
