Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking friendly, energetic, and professional Hosts/Hostesses to be the first point of contact for our guests. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming experience, managing guest flow, maintaining waitlists, answering phones, and supporting front-of-house operations to ensure exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they walk in Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS system Maintain waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests, providing updates as needed Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating flow and timely service Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing accurate information about menu options, specials, and restaurant policies Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns courteously and resolving issues promptly to enhance overall satisfaction Keep the host/hostess station organized, clean, and well-stocked to support daily operations Skills Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette Friendly, outgoing, and team-oriented attitude Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
