Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet guest with a welcoming smile, enthusiasm and sincerity. Provide guests information on wine choices. Wait on multiple guests with speed and accuracy while providing excellent customer service. Bus, clean and clear tables if needed. Ring up all sales in the cash register and handle money with 100% accuracy. Offer wine club membership to the guest while providing accurate information on how each type of club works and the benefits associated with the club. Assist guest in purchasing wine by the bottle or case. Initiate conversation with the guest and ask for the sale/upsell. Keep bar and restaurant area clean and safe for all guests and employees. Assists in general duties such as restocking wine, washing and polishing stemware and silverware as needed. Ensure that guests are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages before tasting tickets or wine bottle are sold.

Job Requirements:

Passion and strong wine knowledge preferred. Excellent communication skills Has attention to detail and the ability to follow direction and abide by standard operating procedures. Must have RBS training completed within 30 days of hire Must have Riverside food handlers card completed within 30 days of hire Must be able to speak English Hospitality/Food and Beverage industry background and experience. Courteous and ability to smile spontaneously! Great sense of humor! A natural desire and willingness to serve others. Consistently striving to be better. Must be able to lift a case of wine (40 lbs) Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout entire shift. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
