Job Description

Live and work at the beautiful Conejos River Campground welcoming visitors and maintaining campground operations. Located along Highway 17 close to the Conejos River, the campground is modeled on a KOA facility with a bathhouse, three small bunk houses, A-frame apartment and 31 RV sites. Campground hosts are responsible for some mowing/weed-eating, answering phone calls, taking reservations, cleaning restrooms, cabins and office. Hosts must have their own RV or camper and are provided an RV site with full hook ups and 50/30 amp services. Hosts will work Thursday - Sunday for a total of 28 hours per week. May through October. There is NO additional pay. The Conejos River Campground is nestled in the beautiful Conejos canyon and bordered by the Rio Grande National Forest. Visitors can fish on the nearby rivers, streams and lakes, take a ride on the famous Cumbres and Toltec train, Go hiking in the Rocky Mountains and enjoy driving on 4 x 4 trails right out of the park. The famous Conejos river is just a short walk from the park and is one of the premier trout fishing rivers in Colorado.
