As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your responsibilities will include managing a wait list, greeting guests, coordinating seating arrangements to optimize flow and service, selling retail and answering phone calls. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with an overview of the dining experience. Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently, ensuring timely seating. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to coordinate guest needs and special requests. Utilize Toast POS Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area, including menus and promotional materials. Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant services to enhance their dining experience. Handle guest relations with professionalism, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and courteously. Support the team during peak hours by helping with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations. Skills Strong phone etiquette. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. A background in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Toast POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
