About Counter Culture:
Eats & Beats We are an upcoming brunch destination in the heart of Buena Vista, dedicated to bringing a fresh, high-energy dining experience to our vibrant mountain community. Our focus is on scratch-made cuisine and elevated guest experiences.
This is a place where:

The Role As the Host at Counter Culture, you are the "Director of First Impressions." You set the vibe from the moment someone walks through the door. You'll manage the flow of the floor, balance the waitlist during the morning rush, and ensure every guest feels the energy of our space before they even take a seat.
Key Responsibilities The Welcome:
Greet every guest with high energy and a genuine smile, managing the door with confidence.
Seating Strategy:
Optimize table rotations and manage the waitlist to keep the dining room humming without overwhelming the kitchen.
Guest Communication:
Provide accurate wait time estimates and keep guests engaged while they wait for a table.
Reservation Management:
Manage digital booking systems and phone inquiries with professional flair.
Dining Room Support:
Assist with clearing menus, bussing tables, keeping the dining room tidy, and alerting servers when new guests are seated. Communication of all special occasions, guest notes, and requests is required.
Vibe Control:
Keep an eye on the front-of-house atmosphere, ensuring the entryway is clean, and the music/lighting is on point.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus, but a great attitude is our priority.
Multitasking:
Ability to remain calm and organized while handling a busy front door and ringing phone.
Communication:
Clear, friendly, and assertive communication skills.
Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable using iPad-based seating software and POS systems.
Stamina:
