Restaurant Host/Hostess Cripple Creek, CO 80813 $15.16 an hour - Part-time, Full-time $15.16 an hour - Part-time, Full-time •New Italian Restaurant in Cripple Creek•Greet, seat, and coordinate activities of dining room personnel to provide fast and courteous service to customers and employees. Consistently provide a positive image. Perform all duties in compliance with safety standards, health standards and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act. Establish eye contact with all guests and cheerfully welcome them. Greet the guests by name whenever possible. When a guest is leaving, wish every guest "good luck" and ask them to come back soon or the equivalent in your own words. Duties and Responsibilities Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or special services for diners. Greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus. Estimate number of patrons per server and estimate waiting times. Assign work tasks and coordinate activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to guests and employees. Monitor restaurant activity and act to help servers ensure prompt and courteous service. Bus and clean tables. Wear and maintain all uniforms properly. Flexible workweek with possible additional hours required. All Team Members maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with safety procedures, including use of required safety equipment, identifying unsafe practices or conditions, and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of the unsafe conditions. All Team Members follow security policies and procedures and report all violations. Perform duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act. Perform other job-related duties as directed. Demonstrated direct hospitality, hosting or serving experience, preferably within a gaming environment. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure. Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing, and prioritizing work. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate and give accurate change to customers. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Alcohol Awareness Program Bloodborne pathogens training.
