• Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and friendly Hostess/Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact, ensuring every guest feels valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and hospitality expertise will set the tone for a memorable dining experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your guest service talents in a dynamic restaurant environment. Duties Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and a positive attitude to foster a welcoming environment Give accurate directions to ensure guests arrive at the taproom or event space Be aware of events going on in the building along with all upcoming events Help guests purchase To-Go beer and merchandise and accurately ring them out using the POS Keep Merch bar and To-Go beer stocked and organized Assist guests with inquiries about menu items, restaurant policies, and special requests Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating flow and timely service Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall satisfaction Keeping all foyers clean and organized Qualifications Must be 18 years or older to apply Prior experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Toast POS is advantageous Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating guest relations expertise Knowledge of serving etiquette, phone etiquette, and guest services best practices Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts Join our team and be part of an energetic environment where your hospitality skills make every guest's experience exceptional!
