The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and customer relations, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality. This role is vital in ensuring guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. Prior restaurant or hotel guest services experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently Escort guests to their tables and provide menus Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize restaurant flow Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette Maintain a clean and organized host stand area Assist servers and kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth service Use POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for reservations and seating management Provide exceptional guest services, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations throughout each shift Requirements Previous host/host experience or food service background preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus Experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel guest services is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed This role offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing outstanding guest experiences.
