As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements. Duties Warmly greet guests upon arrival with enthusiasm and professionalism, making them feel immediately welcomed. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate tracking of guest seating. Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort and satisfaction. Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, menu options, and special events. Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow. Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand, ensuring a tidy appearance at all times. Qualifications Previous experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Experience in hospitality or hotel guest services is a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving etiquette, and guest relations principles. Professional phone etiquette and guest interaction skills are essential.
