Duties Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and genuine friendliness, establishing a positive first impression Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently, balancing reservations and walk-in arrivals to minimize wait times Communicate clearly with guests regarding wait times, menu options, and special events using excellent phone etiquette Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth flow of service and guest satisfaction Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly with professionalism and a positive attitude Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process reservations, takeout orders, or billing transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness of host station and waiting areas, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management Familiarity with POS systems and taking orders Experience in hotel or guest services roles enhances understanding of hospitality standards Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive demeanor under pressure Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving etiquette, and guest relations practices is highly valued Join us in creating memorable moments for our guests through exceptional hospitality!
