Play Center Attendant & Birthday Party Host (Part-Time) Fun for Tots is a locally owned indoor playground in Clermont, Florida, designed for children ages 6 months to 7 years. We provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where children can play, learn, and explore while parents relax and connect with other families. Your responsibilities will include welcoming guests, checking in customers, maintaining a clean and safe facility, assisting with birthday parties and special events, serving snacks and beverages, and helping ensure smooth daily operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, interacting with families, staying busy, and taking pride in creating a clean and organized environment. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Customer Service Welcome families and guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Check guests in for open play sessions and events. Answer questions about memberships, open play, birthday parties, and special events. Process admissions and payments through our point-of-sale system. Assist families throughout their visit to ensure a positive experience. Help promote memberships, events, and other services offered by Fun for Tots. Birthday Parties & Special Events Assist with party room setup and cleanup. Prepare tables, decorations, and party supplies. Support families during birthday parties and private events. Help ensure parties run smoothly and on schedule. Create a fun and welcoming experience for party guests. Assist with seasonal events and special activities throughout the year. Playground Supervision & Facility Care Monitor play areas to help maintain a safe environment. Politely enforce playground rules when necessary. Assist parents and children as needed. Clean and sanitize play equipment, toys, tables, seating areas, and high-touch surfaces throughout the day. Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready facility at all times. Report safety or maintenance concerns to management. Food & Snack Service Prepare and serve simple snacks and beverages. Follow food safety and cleanliness standards. Restock food and beverage supplies as needed. Maintain cleanliness of snack and seating areas. Daily Operations Assist with opening and closing procedures. Restock supplies and inventory. Help with laundry, cleaning, and facility preparation. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Attend training sessions and team meetings as required. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Previous experience in customer service, childcare, hospitality, retail, recreation, or event hosting is preferred but not required. Comfortable interacting with children and families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills required. Point-of-sale experience is a plus. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Background check required upon hire. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for extended periods. Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and navigate play structures when necessary. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Comfortable working in an active and energetic environment. Ability to respond quickly to support guest safety. Availability Requirements Must be available to work weekends. Availability during birthday party hours is required. Additional weekday availability is preferred. Flexible scheduling available.
