Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Host/Hostess, where your vibrant personality and exceptional customer service skills will set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly with a friendly and energetic demeanor, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating arrangements Escort guests to their tables promptly while providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant policies Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas are inviting and well-presented Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate seating and accommodate special requests or needs Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about reservations, wait times, or restaurant hours with excellent phone etiquette Assist in guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall guest satisfaction Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles within a restaurant setting Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with diverse guests and team members Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing reservations and billing processes Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across guest services settings Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and guest relations best practices Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a lively, energetic attitude throughout shifts Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by combining your hospitality expertise with your passion for guest service.
