Sirocco Mediterranean Restaurant is seeking a Hostess to join our team in Dania Beach, FL (Dania Pointe). We are looking for a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our guests. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, welcoming them to the restaurant and ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a warm and welcoming demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant and escort them to their tables Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness and organization Assist with answering phone calls, taking reservations, and managing waitlists Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely service Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Hostess or in a customer service role is preferred but not required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Professional appearance and demeanor Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Salary depends on experience
