• Part Time Now hiring a Host / Hostess to work in an upbeat & fast-paced restaurant in Destin, FL .

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greeting Guests

• Createa positive first impression by warmly welcome guests as they arrive. Managing Reservations
• Handle reservations efficiently toensurethat seating arrangements are organized and accommodating to guests. Seating Guests
• Escort guests to their tables, present the menus to the guests, and provide initial information about services, food, &drinks. Maintaining Waitlists
• Keep an accurate waitlist during busy periodsand communicate estimated wait times to guests. Answering Inquiries
• Respond to guests inquiries & concerns promptly & professionally in order to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Supporting Staff
• Collaborate with servers & kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service. Monitoring Dining Room Activity
• Observe the dining area to assess guest flow & table turnover, making adjustments as needed to optimize seating & service.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Customer Service Skills

• A friendly demeanor and the ability to positively engage with guests to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Organizational Skills
• Ability to manage reservations & waitlists efficiently, ESPECIALLY during PEAK hours. Communication Skills
• Strong verbal communication skills to interact with guests AND staff effectively. Problem-Solving Skills
• Ability to handle guest complaints calmly & professionally. Flexibility
• Willingness to work in shifts & adapt to the fast-paced environment of a restaurant.

PAY:

Starts at $15/hr.

SCHEDULE

Part-time Expected hours are Monday

• Friday between 10:45am
• 4:00pm
• More hours may be available if you are performing well in the role
