Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostless to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service within the restaurant. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests regarding their seating status. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing reservations and orders. Uphold high standards of customer service to enhance guest satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of serving techniques and hospitality standards. Experience with POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team dedicated to providing outstanding guest experiences.
