Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Host/Greeter/Maitre'D and become the welcoming face of our dynamic restaurant! In this lively role, you will create memorable first impressions by providing exceptional guest services, managing wait-list & quote times, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. We are predominately looking for a host/greeter, but could create a Maitre'd position for the right candidate. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival with enthusiasm and professionalism, making them feel instantly welcomed. Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems, ensuring accurate seating assignments. Coordinate with the service team to optimize table turnover and minimize wait times while maintaining a friendly atmosphere. Assist guests with seating arrangements, special requests, and provide menus promptly. Answer phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about the restaurant and reservation availability. Handle guest concerns or special needs with tact and promptness to ensure a positive experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a professional appearance at all times. Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a welcoming demeanor are essential. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management. Experience with food service operations and familiarity with POS systems Knowledge of restaurant procedures, guest services, and hospitality standards to deliver exceptional guest relations. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to foster positive interactions both in person and over the phone.
