What You'll Do:

As a Host/Hostess at Hotel Effie, youll be the face of our dining experiencewelcoming guests with warmth, managing reservations, and ensuring every visitor feels like a VIP from the moment they arrive. Youll be the liaison between our guests and the seamless service we pride ourselves on.

Essential Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcomeManage reservations, create waitlists, and provide accurate wait timesEscort guests to tables and communicate server rotation to ensure smooth serviceMaintain a tidy and inviting front-of-house areaAssist with bussing tables as needed to support the teamLearn and describe menu items, specials, and restaurant offeringsCollaborate with the team to manage guest flow during peak hoursComplete opening/closing side work and general cleaning dutiesOffer outstanding customer service with a positive attitude and professional demeanor

What Were Looking For:

Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personalityHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious hosting or customer service experience is a plusAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and time-management skillsTeam player willing to assist in other roles when neededFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:
