THIS IS A TIPPED POSITION

Job Overview We are looking for a friendly and energetic Hostess/Cashier to join our vibrant team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth seating and checkout processes. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will help deliver memorable guest experiences from the moment they arrive to when they leave. Whether managing reservations, greeting guests, or handling transactions, you'll play a key part in maintaining our reputation for hospitality and service excellence. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional guest relations. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times. Handle customer inquiries both in person and over the phone with clear communication and courtesy. Operate POS systems such as

TOAST POS

to process payments accurately and swiftly. Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand, lobby, and cashier area. Support the team by providing excellent guest services, including answering questions about menus or restaurant policies. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow during busy hours. Use of Opentable/ Resy reservation system will be a plus. Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with a friendly phone etiquette and guest-focused attitude. Experience with restaurant POS systems like

is a plus. Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services and restaurant operations. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Experience working in hotel or food service settings is advantageous but not mandatory. A team-oriented approach with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
