Job Overview WGV Renaissance Hotel is seeking a host for breakfast shifts energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills will set the tone for a vibrant and hospitable environment. Responsibilities Warmly greet guests as they arrive, making them feel valued and comfortable Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest flow Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and assistance Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas are welcoming Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and management to deliver seamless guest service Handle guest concerns or special requests promptly, ensuring a positive experience Requirements Previous host or hostess experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude Hospitality or restaurant experience is highly desirable, including serving or hotel background Reliable, punctual, and able to stand for extended periods during shifts Join our team and be part of an energetic environment where your friendly personality makes every guest's visit special!
