Job description Please do not call the restaurant--all hiring is done on Indeed. Job Summary We are seeking a bubbly Cashier/Host who is able to multi-task to join our team at our trendy, Asian-fusion full-service restaurant. The ideal candidate will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage guest relations while multi-tasking in a very fast-paced restaurant environment. We prefer someone with their own reliable transportation and ability to work a combination of opening and closing shifts throughout the week, specifically available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Responsibilities Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome. Must have an outgoing personality. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Communicate wait times to guests and ensure they are comfortable while waiting. Maintain an organized and clean host and takeout station. Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations, orders, and inquiries. Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Take, prepare, and dispatch takeout orders. Utilize OpenTable and Aloha POS system for seating and managing orders. Handle guest concerns with professionalism and empathy, ensuring positive guest relations. Assist in maintaining the overall ambiance of the restaurant, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements Previous experience in a customer service role in a restaurant setting, No exceptions. Exceptional personal hygiene with sophisticated, polished, professional presentation. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on effective guest interaction. Experience using POS systems for orders and reservation management software for seating preferred. Accurate cash handling skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. An extrovert with a positive, upbeat, outgoing attitude and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality experiences. Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends as needed. At least 18 years of age in order to sell and serve alcoholic beverages, No Exceptions .
